Designed for comfort and reduced bulk under the saddle flap, they use a simple leather loop and T-bar structure to rethink the way that stirrup leathers work. Linking to the saddle using a simple, flat leather loop, these stirrup leathers eliminate the need for a bulky steel buckle that fastens most traditional stirrup leathers. They use a cleverly designed T-bar fastening to loop through and adjust the stirrup length near the stirrup iron, eliminating the need to double up the stirrup leather along its length as traditional leathers do. A neat leather cover, stamped with the LeMieux logo, covers the join for protection and style. These stirrup leathers represent a trustworthy, quality choice. They are made from premium soft pre-oiled leather with a non-stretch nylon core to prevent extending and unevenness. Fitting instructions: 1. Start with the LeMieux logo facing you 2. Slide the LeMieux logo-stamped cover upward and unfasten the T-bar 3. Add your stirrup iron 4. Fasten the T-bar to your preferred length, with the short side facing outward 5. Pull the LeMieux logo-stamped cover back over the T-bar join 6. Slide the leather onto the stirrup bar of the saddle using the leather loop (LeMieux logo facing outward) 7. Ensure the buckle sits clear between the bottom of the saddle flap and the stirrup to avoid damage to the saddle flap Leather Care: LeMieux’s finest quality leathers are pre-oiled. Leather is a natural material which needs your care to stay at its best. Cleaning and maintenance Leaving your leather dirty, damp or drying it too quickly can cause stiffening and cracks. After daily use, lightly wipe with lukewarm water and saddle soap. Air dry. For a deep clean, take apart. Clean thoroughly, using lukewarm water and top-quality saddle soap. Air dry.
